Artbooking Overlays for Layouts and Cards

Close To My Heart's Artbooking cartridge has a lot of different overlays that make putting together scrapbooking layouts really easy. I chose the overlay on page 77 and set it at 11 inches. The overlay is just the white outline - all I had to do was back it with some paper and photos, and I was done!

I used additional images on pages 76 and 77, though I set those to Real Dial Size because I wanted them smaller. The bracket and "Wonderland" title are at 3 inches and the snowflakes are 1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 inches.

The overlays aren't just for layouts, though. If you size them down, they make awesome backgrounds for cards. I set the same overlay at 5.5 inches, and then backed it with paper the same way I did with the layout:

What's great about this particular paper pack is that it works both for winter holidays and elegant occasions. The Frosted paper pack is no longer available for individual purchase, but during June, you can get it as part of our Celebrate 30 special - along with those adorable felt flowers and sparkles (not to mention the coordinating Complements stickers!)

You can get get this entire collection for $30 (valued at $64.55!) when you purchase $50 worth of product. All of these items are retired and will only be available to purchase as a collection till the end of June.

I have a handful of plastic templates I use for scrapbooking and love them. It makes making a collage so much easier. This is the same but different and just as easy! Thanks for sharing.

I think I may have the same handful of plastic templates, but I'd much prefer to have someone (or something) else do the work for me! Awesome card! I think I may have an idea of whose anniversary this may be for, but I'm just guessing!!!

Myztique and Jean - I've never used templates before, but it sounds cool. It is nice to have them already pre-cut for you, though. :)
