Creating Traditional Layouts with Picture My Life

Picture My Life is fantastic for creating quick, pocket scrapbooking albums, but all those wonderful cards that come with the program are also great for making traditional layouts. I've used them as embellishments, journaling cards and photo mats, but they can also help create an entire layout.

This layout was made with 4x6 cards from the For Always Picture My Life program - I just cut them down a little so they fit the page. I also fussy cut and pop-dotted images from the cards.

To add a pop of color, I cut Art Philosophy images from Smoothie cardstock. Silver Washi Tape, Silver Shimmer Trim and the retired Keyboard Alphabet and Rosette Ribbon helped me add the finishing touches.

Whether you're a pocket scrapbooker, traditional scrapbooker, or somehwere in between, Picture My Life has something for everyone! And during August, with every PML kit you purchase you can choose a 10-pack of Memory Protectors for only $3!

Like I've said before... AWESOME! Have you tried mixing PML cards? Or mixing in PML cards with traditional scrapbook pages yet???

Jean - I haven't mixed PML cards yet, though considering For Always is black and white, that shouldn't be too hard. :) I have added in PML cards and images to traditional layouts, though, which makes the layouts come together pretty quickly.
