Picture My Life Cards - Keepin' It Simple

With the Picture My Life special going on this month, I thought it would be fun to post artwork showing the different ways you can use the collections. I only have two kits, so all the artwork I post will just be of those two. I am amazed at how far even one kit will take you!

This is a very simple design - the background is a 4x6 card and the image and sentiment are a 3x4 card - both from Balloon Ride. Even the scraps of yellow and brown are cut from various cards. I added some Baker's Twine and a few pieces of bling from my retired product stash. Done!

This card was a little more complicated - I grounded it with some Kraft and Black cardstock, and added a 4x6 card from the For Always kit as a background. Then I went to work fussy cutting various images and phrases from the cards, and I played with them till they formed a collage I liked. I threw in a little teal with the shimmer trim and retired Base & Bling. It's a little different, but I love trying new things!

If you haven't tried Picture My Life, this is the month to give it a whirl!

The Balloon Ride card is fabulous, well, they both are! I will have to get For Always next.

Somehow you make a "simple" design look like a lot of creativity. You're one of my favorite paper artists.
