September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Family is Forever

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! September's featured stamp set is called Family is Forever and has 7 gorgeous stamp images:

If you've come here from Jaime Llewellyn's Blogyou're on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here

This month we have 80 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using September's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. Hopping around is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!!

This stamp set makes gorgeous cards - the tree image is a beautiful background, and the sentiments are perfect for occasions with family and love. I used Yuletide B&T paper and Glacier cardstock for a pop of color. That fun bow was made using Black Shimmer Trim and our Mini Stapler and was topped with a Gold Bling Gem. I also added some Gold Sequins to the tree. I stamped and cut the Glacier hearts and Black sentiment to add some dimension.

This pop-up card comes from the Artiste cartridge (pg. 51). I cut both the card base and pop-up from Yuletide B&T paper. I also cut the pop-up from Glacier cardstock and then just cut out the portions I wanted (the scalloped edges and "LOVE".) I used the stamp set to create my own patterned paper on the front of the card, and to stamp the lovely hearts (another Artiste shape!) Black Shimmer Trim and Gold Bling Gems were the finishing touches.

Now "Hop" on over to Wendy Kessler's Blog to see her artwork! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!

Remember, September's SOTM is only available until September 30th! You can get this fun stamp set for only $5 with a $5o purchase.

So beautiful. I've been looking at this tree for awhile now (blog hopping). I loooooooove the color scheme you chose. I wouldn't believe it if you just told me black, glacier & bamboo (?). But now that I've seen it I'm a true believer!!!

Shelly - sometimes I just grab the most random combinations just to see if they'll work and in this case, I was pretty stunned myself. :)

Lisa - thank you; that means a lot to me! I wasn't so sure about it myself, but when I let go and started creating, I finally saw the possibilities. I'm glad you do too. :)

WOW . Stunning cards, great photography. I love how you have used the Yuletide paper in such a non Christmassy way. Thanks for opening my eyes to this!
