Seasonal Expressions 2 Artwork - Friendly Pets Card (Win Me!)

All throughout April, I'm going to be posting artwork made with products from the new Seasonal Expressions 2 mini-catalog, and YOU could win the artwork!

How? Simply post a comment on my blog or Facebook page, and you'll be entered to win the artwork you commented on. I'll announce the winners of each piece of artwork on May 1st.

Today's artwork giveaway: the choice between these two adorable cards made with the Friendly Pets stamp set!

I couldn't decide which of my cats I wanted to use as a model, so I made one with brown coloring like Newman and Elaine, and one with gray coloring like Puddy. And you get to decide who you like better. Don't worry, they're cats - they're too busy napping to be offended. :)

This stamp set is awesome for coloring - I used our Archival Black ink and ShinHan Touch markers to color these cute felines. I can't get enough of the Oceanside and Coral Reef Sequins, so of course I decorated with both.

Check out all the fun new products on my website. Want to make your own cuddly critter card? See my supply list below!

I was wondering how well you find the CTMH Archival Black ink works with the Shin Han markers? Did you heat set it, or let it dry first? I have both Copics and Shin Hans, but I'm really new to alcohol inks and I don't have any of the recommended Memento ink, so I've been Googling to find out what people are saying about CTMH Archival Black. Thanks! :)

Kim - I find the Archival Black works really well. However, I make sure to let it sit for 10-15 minutes before I begin coloring (though if you heat set it, you can begin right away). The best way to get no smearing is either to use pigment inks or emboss an image - both take longer because you need to heat set them, but you won't get any transfer of color that way. HTH!
