Rose Blossom Blog Hop - Live Your Day!

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations using January's National Papercrafting Month special - Live Your Day!

If you came here from Kim Hill's amazing blog, you are on the right path. If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Inspiration: These awesome Live Your Day Picture My Life cards! All the titles, sayings, and decorative backgrounds are from these cards. I wanted to create a traditional layout using pocket scrapbooking cards because it is so easy since they're already decorated!

Technique: To make the cards and photo pop, I ink edged them in White Pigment Ink, which also goes with the areas I sanded - with that white core, it creates a perfect spot for journaling, as well as adding a distressed look to the edge of the paper.

Fun Fact: This is the first page in an album I'm creating for my parent's trip to France. However, I'm already halfway done with the album - I don't like to scrapbook in order. :)

Now it's time for you to keep moving on the hop!  Head on over to Cathy's lovely blog and see her beautiful artwork!

This is a beautiful page, Morgan! I can only imagine how gorgeous the rest of the album is. :) I love all the little details you add--the sanding, the inking, journalling in white. Your pages never cease to amaze me!

Awww, so pretty! Inking the edges in Daisy White really elevates the look of the cards. I love the bits of white on the background as well. I bet that is a very, lovely album!
