March Stamp of the Month - Sunshine Birdies Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations using March's Stamp of the Month - Sunshine Birdies!

If you came here from Shelly's incredible blog, you're on the right path!  If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Inspiration: I always need thank you cards for my business, and with a name like Tweetscraps, this stamp set was too perfect for making them.

Technique: Good old fashioned marker coloring and fussy cutting. Plus, I used the same colors and paper sizes, but switched them around to give the cards variety. And here's a tip - trying to cut lines and swirls is really difficult. Instead, chop them off when fussy cutting and draw them in with a journaling pen.

Fun Fact: I had run out of plain white card bases, and I was too lazy to cut up some new ones, so I raided my stash of die-cut cards instead. Sometimes being lazy is a good thing. :)

March's SOTM is only available until March 31st. As always, you can get this stamp set for only $5 with a $50 purchase at my website

Now it's time for you to keep moving on the hop!  Head on over to Cathy's lovely blog and see her beautiful artwork!

Love this color combo .... So happy. It's great how you repeated the style of the card but every single one looks different. AND the fussy cutting tip is awesome.

Fantastic cards Morgan! Love the colors and style. I must say that you have some mad fussy cut skills! Thanks for the tip about drawing in some of those super fine details.

Adorable!!!!! Love the tip--can't tell you how I hate to cut little antennae and what not. I have to dispute the "too lazy" part of the fun fact--you've never been lazy! But anything that makes you raid the stash is a good thing in my book! Thanks for sharing your awesome talent!

This set is soooo perfect for "Tweet Scraps"! I love how you showcased each birdie with the same color theme, papers and elements but with variation. I think it is funny that you and I used a lot of the same supplies this time. Your tip is an excellent one!
