Rose Blossom Blog Hop - STAMPAGANZA Favorite Stamp Set Card

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations using our favorite stamp set to celebrate March's STAMPAGANZA!

If you came here from Kim Hill's lovely blog, you are on the right path. If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Inspiration: A card layout from a 2010 issue of Paper Crafts magazine. I keep a binder of inspiration from various magazines, and it just goes to show there's no time limit on inspiration!

Technique: The angled layers of Penelope paper are actually all the same width - 1". But by overlapping them, they all look like the were cut an an angle. Also, I stamped the various cactus images on both white and colored cardstock to make each of the images stand out.

My Favorite Stamp Set: Stuck on You! I lived in New Mexico for over 5 years, so I have a special place in my heart for prickly plants. What are your favorite stamp sets? Take advantage of STAMPAGANZA's buy 2 stamp sets and get a 3rd free special at my website!
Now it's time for you to keep moving on the hop!  Head on over to Cathy's amazing blog and see her beautiful artwork!

What a striking card! Love the colors and the angled strip idea. It just makes a fresh, fun design. The tiny staples add to it as well. I always enjoy your creations.

This is so cute! Love that you stamped the cactuses on white and colored card stocks. They're popping off the card like a jumping cholla. Cool technique on the angled strips of paper at the bottom of the card!

Oh my goodness!! I've been struggling with this set, not gonna lie.... This is SOOOO cute! I definitely have to borrow this design. Love the stamping on colored cardstock (I NEVER think of doing that!) and the bright colors just make this so fun--and soften the pricklies as well. Perfect!!

I so love your paper choices for this card. Having lived in the Southwest, I suppose you would be inspired by this set! And it shows through in this card!!
