Rose Blossom Blog Hop - The Long Way Home

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations using June's Stamp of the Month - The Long Way Home!

If you came here from Kim Hill's fun and lovely blog, you're on the right path!  If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Inspiration: This layout from Pinterest.

Technique: I didn't use the chevron shapes from the original layout because I wanted the shapes of the stamp set to stand out. Instead, I just focused on the general placement of the papers and photos.

Fun Tip: This stamp set has a lot of traveling images, but none of boats, which is how we were traveling! But that's okay - there are so many other images and sentiments I was able to make it work. So make sure to look at every image on a stamp set - if you think outside the theme, you can find what you need.

June's SOTM is only available until June 30th. As always, you can get this stamp set for only $5 with a $50 purchase at my website

Now it's time for you to keep moving on the hop!  Head on over to Kim Sparks' incredible blog and see her fantastic artwork!

Great color palette! Love that pic of you! This is a really fun layout and shows how you did not need to use the larger images in the set and that shows the versatility of this set for travel layouts.

I love your composition... The way you grouped the photos & patterned papers towards the center and then all your cool clever clusters of stamped accents and embellishments at the right angles formed by the photos! Very inspiring!

I love this color palette, too!!! All the stamped images on this page show that you can use the stamps to create all you need to embellish a page. Those sweet little sequin clusters are the perfect finishing touch!

Love this page Morgan! I especially love how you used and shared your tip about looking at all the stamps in a set and thinking outside the theme. Perfect paper choices and embellishment placement have me going back and looking at this page over and over ... thanks for the inspiration!

I love this! Sometimes thinking outside the box (realizing that you don't have to use every stamp in a set) results in the most beautiful creations!

This is such an adorable layout. Love the colors you chose and also the fact that you used the stamps in the set that help describe your memory. The picture of you with the Statue of Liberty (and photo bomber) is so cute! I also like your idea of hyperlinking the Pinterest inspiration layout. Great idea.
