Rose Blossom Blog Hop - Blessed Beyond Measure Card

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations using September's Stamp of the Month - Blessed Beyond Measure!

If you came here from Kim's beautiful blog, you're on the right path!  If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Inspiration: I was working on a layout that had pictures of a pumpkin farm, and ever since then, I wanted to create a pile of pumpkins. And so I did. :)

Technique: I used Saffron pigment ink to sponge the entire pumpkin stamp and Goldrush pigment ink to sponge just the edges of the stamp, which creates a multi-colored look.

Product Overload: I also cut leaves using Artbooking, gave the background more depth with a wood embossing folder, and added shimmer to the pumpkins and berries with the Shimmer brush.

September's SOTM is only available until September 30th. As always, you can get this stamp set for only $5 with a $50 purchase at my website

Now it's time for you to keep moving on the hop!  Head on over to Kristine's lovely blog and see her fantastic artwork!

I know this is a SOTM hop but that woodgrain background makes all of this work! Love it!! I was so excited to find out that I have this embossing folder too, even though it's still in the original wrapper. You have inspired me to get busy with it. I will probably just start with copying you :)

Your projects are always so thoughtfully designed, crisp and clean but with just enough texture and interest. Love the leaves behind the pumpkins.

This what I call SOTM perfection! What a lovely card. Clever use of the leaves as background for the pumpkins. I love your choice of colors, and the embossed background. Wonderful!
