Rose Blossom Blog Hop - New Year's Cheer Card

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations using November's Stamp of the Month - New Year's Cheer!

If you came here from Kim's amazing blog, you're on the right path!  If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Inspiration: This pin from Pinterest. The gray/white/pink color combo caught my eye, and I loved how a frame was used to ground the stamped images.

Technique: Sewing with silver thread to create the banner, using different variations of each color to give it some interest (Whisper and Slate gray, Raspberry and Blossom pink), glamming up the glasses with the Shimmer Brush, and die-cutting that lovely frame from Artbooking to add my own grounding element.

Fun Fact: I originally stamped bubbles above the champagne glasses, but that white space in the middle is apparently very important to making this work, because it was just too busy!

November's SOTM is only available until November 30th. As always, you can get this stamp set for only $5 with a $50 purchase at my website

Now it's time for you to keep moving on the hop!  Head on over to Sue's lovely blog and see her fantastic artwork!

Love the banner on this card as well as the placement. I agree that the bubbles would have been too busy. Such a cute card!
