Fun With Christmas Cards - Part 1

I had a blast making Christmas cards this year! I know I loved it so much because I used so many different products and made a bunch of different designs, so it always felt fresh and new. I thought I'd share with you some of the designs I created to help you get inspired!

Inspiration: Stampin' Up's Candy Cane Lane collection. To me it felt cozy, warm and utterly delicious.

Die-Cutting Diva: I went crazy with die-cuts! I used Poppystamps beautiful staircase die, Tim Holtz Christmas word dies, and Lawn Fawn stitched wavy border dies. Plus that adorable cat and pretty Christmas greenery came from Close To My Heart's cartridges. (The candy house was fussy cut.)

Awesome Tip: Metallic paper (like the copper sheets I used for these cards) take embossing folder designs incredibly well. I used a wood folder to make the copper sheet look like a wood floor. It's also great with dies and punches (I used a scalloped border punch on the bottom card).
