Fun With Color - Pigment Ink

Let's have fun with color! The new colors in the Adventure palette are so bright and fun that I wanted to show you some ways you can create with them. The first stop was stencils. Next stop? Pigment ink!

Playing with Pigments: This is such a neat technique I picked up from Scrapbook.com's Create a Card for Every Occasion class (it's free!).

1. Using small pigment ink squares, drag each color across both sides of the card base, repeating a mix of 3 colors.
2. Using those same three colors, press each ink color onto a stamped image, alternating each color to give it an ombre or multi-colored look. Stamp the image onto white cardstock.
3. Sprinkle the stamped image with clear embossing powder and then heat.
4. Sponge a neutral color over the stamped image (this helps offset it from the colors of the card base). When done, tear the edges of the cardstock and adhere to the center of the card base.
