Rose Blossom Blog Hop - Hello Lovely Layout with Distress Techniques

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop! Come follow Close To My Heart consultants from the Rose Blossom team as we share our creations made using new products from the Seasonal Expressions mini-catalog!

If you came here from Kim's lovely blog, you are on the right path. If you get lost along the way, come back here and go to the bottom of the page for the blog hop list.

Ideas for adding distressing techniques and dimension to your layouts:

Ink Edging: Using a sponge dauber and Desert Sand ink, flick ink along the edges of your layout base and all your background Hello Lovely papers. Leave your photo mat papers as is - the softer, inked edges will draw attention to the un-inked area.

Splatter: Add water and Sorbet re-inker to a Spray Pen, mix, remove the nozzle and then tap the long tube on your finger to add splotches diagonally across your layout base.

Shine: Use the Gold Shimmer Brush to color the banners peaking out from the photo and all the flower stickers from the Hello Lovely Complements. This will add some sparkle and shine to areas that are softer and more muted.

You can get these new products and more on my website
