Celebrate Card with Colored Vellum

You can do a lot of cool things with vellum when you're crafting. Here's one of my favorite techniques - coloring on vellum!

How to Color on Vellum:
  1. Find an fun image with lots of space for coloring (such as this Happily Ever After stamp set), and stamp it on vellum with Versamark.
  2. Use White Embossing Powder and heat set it.
  3. Use alcohol-based markers, like these ShinHan markers. Don't color on the front of the vellum - rather, flip it over and color on the back. It gives the image a stained glass look and is a lot quicker because you don't have to worry so much about staying in the lines!
  4. Flip the image over and adhere either in areas that will be covered by paper or embellishments, or try sewing it on to a piece of cardstock.

This is gorgeous and you have pushed me over the fence on deciding if I "need" that stamp set, lol. Those gold sprigs add a touch of elegance.
